Haas Family Team Denial

Nita Haas

With YOUR help even a small boat IS MAKING a big difference! Celebrating 11 years of fundraising for the Leukemia Cup. We've personally raised over $50,000. Please give generously and "like" our Haas Family Leukemia Cup Facebook page.  On August 26th, for the 11th year, the Haas family again joins local Chicago sailors participating in the Leukemia Cup Regatta. Simply put: this is how sailors give back.   Nita's dad: was a lifelong sailor who taught her very young that a bad day on the water, spent with family and friends, is better than a good day anywhere else. Nine years ago, on August 28th we lost him to leukemia. When we raise funds, we're helping cure blood cancers and honoring his memory.    The good news is that the research our fundraising dollars support is actually making a difference. LLS-funded research has found new cures for blood cancers, and lives are being saved as a result.     Please join Haas Family Team Denial for the 11th year as we once again prove that even a little boat will make a BIG difference - with your help! Even the smallest donation, $5, $10, adds up and is much appreciated!   Check donations can be given to team members personally - payable to the Leukemia Society or mailed to: William Haas 4444 N Damen #4 E Chicago IL 60625   With your help, even a small boat continues to make a difference! We thank you for your support!   Haas Family Team Denial - Ken, Nita, Bill Haas, family and friends

Help me raise funds for 2017 Illinois Leukemia Cup Regatta

Team Obsession

Welcome to the 2017 Leukemia Cup Regatta fundraising page for Team Obsession!   Many of us have family, friends, or colleagues who have battled blood cancer.  In their honor, and to help fund treatments that save lives every day, we are raising funds and sails for the 6th year as part of the Leukemia Cup Regatta.   Every single donation helps save a life with breakthrough therapies such as immunotherapy treatments that use a person’s own immune system to kill cancer. Patients need these cures and they need our support.   Please make a donation in support of our efforts and help get us all closer to a world without blood cancers.  If you Tweet or use Facebook, please feel free to share to help our team reach our fundraising goal. Thank you for your support! Team Obsession

Help me raise money for 2017 Illinois Leukemia Cup Regatta

Lisa DeSantis

Welcome to my 2017 Leukemia Cup Regatta fundraising page! Just as it takes more than one person to sail a boat, it takes more than one person to cure blood cancers and beyond - and that's why I'm hoping that you will join me in the fight for a cure.    The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the nation's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to finding a cure for blood cancers. Our mission is that simple, and that mission has made great advances in recent years, both for blood cancers and others like breast, pancreatic and skin cancers. LLS invests in research that leads to breakthrough treatments, like immunotherapies that use a person's own immune system to kill cancer.    This is an exciting time for blood cancer research - in the last few decades, therapies have progressed greatly and improved survival rates for blood cancers like ALL from 5% to nearly 95%. But our work is not done yet - survival rates still lag in many of the blood cancers.  We have the power to make a difference, not someday but today. By making a donation today to my fundraising efforts for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, we can continue to improve the 5-year survival rates for blood cancers and beyond. You are investing in LLS and investing in a cure - not jusr for our generation, but for those to come.  Thank you for your investment in the LLS mission. Together, we will find a cure!  We are making BIG progress!!
